Please allow me to share a little information about the why and how this cushion idea came about:
I had always found it necessary to reach for a bed pillow during intimacy. That necessary lift really helped, but bed pillow never stayed in place! In 2001, on one of my more creative days, I went to the hardware store and purchased a block of foam, determined to solve this problem. After whittling away at this foam for a couple of months, the existing shape evolved. My research suggested that this might be a saleable product. I applied for and received a patent on the shape of the cushion in 2002.
I commenced marketing in 2003. The cushion is sold exclusively on the Internet from my two websites, www.LittleDeepr.com and www.NaturalPregnancyAid.com. It is manufactured in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with very high production standards.
My History:
In mid 1996 the Hawaii Small Business Administration selected me as the “1996 Small Business Person of the Year” for my entrepreneurial telecommunications accomplishments in the Hawaiian business community. My business, “Aloha Conferencing Services” was started in 1987 and grew to 3000 clients nationwide with over 100 employees. My company was subsequently recognized and presented an award by President Clinton in a 1996 White House ceremony.
Later in 1996, a Hawaii family court judge awarded me sole legal and physical custody of my two children ages 8 & 4. That event prompted me to sell my company to Cable & Wireless and become a full time dad. My daughter was subsequently diagnosed with MS at the age of 13 and my son, then 7 years old, was diagnosed with epilepsy. Their condition required close parental supervision almost 24 hours a day for the next 15 years.
The reality of ongoing and future medical expenses motivated me to come up with another idea that would provide additional resources for their long-term care.
Now that my children are young adults and doing well, it is time to grow this business more aggressively!
